I had the pleasure of spending the day with Irina Bird, a 12-year old sixth grade student who was born without an arm and both thighs. Irina's school, Cummings Elementaty, has come behind her to raise the money for a new arm. To view the audio slideshow:

Wow, thank you so much for posting and for sharing about Irina. She is a wonderful blessing i can see.I wish i could help. But I will be praying for her and i am sure the money for her new arm will be collected and even more.

What a splendid story...both in capture and in content. This little girl radiates joy despite her challenges, and you tell so much with just a few frames.

what a great detail in that first shot... also, really like seeing her next to her classmates in the second to last shot. wish there was something with some sort of one on one interaction with another student or parent/teacher... you probably have it, but maybe didn't post... nice job...
